Turning data into decisions.
Processes into applications.
Experience into advantage.

I combine nearly 30 years in finance and management with custom business application development, financial process automation and AI-native solutions. I build decision systems and executive dashboards that help boards see faster, decide with more confidence — and let people stop doing work that technology should have taken over long ago.

What I build

Three pillars. One path: from data to action.

BUILD

Applications & automation

Custom business applications, management tools, workflows and AI solutions. Built fast — but on a real business process, not on slides. Repetitive work disappears; people get back to thinking.

// hours of work → seconds of a script
SEE

Data & visualization

I connect, clean and transform data into interfaces that answer the board’s actual questions. Not a dashboard for its own sake — a decision interface that tells you every morning what is really going on.

// one source of truth
DECIDE

Finance & advisory

Reporting architecture, financial models, cash flow, profitability, KPIs, finance function transformation. Nearly three decades in finance and management — I know how decisions really get made.

// proven in M&A transactions

Selected work

Four stories. No names. Real decisions.

These case studies are anonymized. Client confidentiality matters as much as the data itself. The structure is always the same: problem, solution, result — and what matters most, the impact on people.

TRADING COMPANY

Inventory ledger in focus

PROBLEMThousands of transactions, and between the operational system and the books — discrepancies no one could pin down.
SOLUTIONAutomated reconciliation of the inventory ledger and a variance report that flags every discrepancy in seconds.
RESULTDiscrepancies were found and explained — followed by fixes in the system and operational processes to keep similar errors from recurring.
PEOPLEThe accounting team stopped spending dozens of hours manually comparing spreadsheets in search of differences.
TRANSPORT COMPANY

A 2+5 model at due diligence

PROBLEMAn investment bank asks about the future, and the spreadsheet falls apart at every scenario.
SOLUTIONA 2+5 financial model: two years of detail, five years of projection. P&L, cash flow, working capital, sensitivity analysis — all tied into an interactive HTML visualization.
RESULTThe model stood up to the bank’s due diligence questions.
PEOPLEThe board could focus on strategy instead of debating formulas and links in Excel.
MULTI-ENTITY GROUP

One picture of cash

PROBLEMEvery entity reports differently. The group’s cash picture is stitched together late and always out of date.
SOLUTIONA shared cash-flow and reporting system for the whole group — a single interactive source of truth.
RESULTOne consistent picture of cash, updated continuously: a 60-day day-by-day forecast, an executive dashboard, live comments, payment plans and automated daily commentary with suggested actions.
PEOPLEControllers analyze instead of copying data between files. Consistency is protected by built-in, multi-level automated controls.
SERVICES COMPANY

Twenty statements, one import

PROBLEMOver 20 bank statements a day from several different banks, with thousands of transactions on them. Importing into the books took hours — every day.
SOLUTIONOne web portal: the accountant uploads all the files at once, regardless of bank or MT940 layout. The app processes the data locally and returns, in seconds, a package of documents ready to import into the accounting system.
RESULTBuilt-in data-consistency checks and duplicate-import verification. Work that used to take hours a day now closes in minutes.
PEOPLEThe accountant got her time back — free to use her judgment where it is truly needed.
Lab

Not slides. Working slices of real systems.

The data is synthetic, the mechanics are real. Move a slider, click an invoice, watch the live commentary — and see how the system reasons.

What I can build

From a single automation to a board-level operating system.

I build decision systems at the intersection of finance, data and technology. This is not a catalog of everything — it is the range of what is possible. We always start with one decision.

01 · SINGLE AUTOMATIONS
  • A daily sales report sent to the board in the messenger of their choice
  • Automatic merging of reports from many spreadsheets and systems
  • Alerts on exceeding a budget, limit or deadline
  • Data-completeness checks before month-end close
02 · SMALL BUSINESS APPLICATIONS
  • An interactive 13-week cash flow
  • A receivables and collection-priority cockpit
  • A margin and offer-profitability calculator
  • A bank-covenant monitor
03 · MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
  • A live dashboard of profitability by customer, channel, product and region
  • An investment-project control platform
  • A budgeting and rolling-forecast system
  • A Working Capital Command Center
04 · INTELLIGENT DECISION SYSTEMS
  • An intelligent margin-control system
  • An early-warning system for deteriorating liquidity
  • An AI-assisted month-end close with a human in control
  • CFO Control Tower — one view of results, liquidity and risk
Manifesto
“Behind every number stands a person. Behind every process — someone’s daily work. Behind every company — stories you won’t see in a spreadsheet.”

I don’t use technology to replace people. I use it to free their creativity and potential. Good systems don’t take responsibility away — they create room for conscious, courageous decisions.

The ensō in my mark stays open — wholeness needs space for the new.

円相

Ensō — Simplicity

One stroke of the brush. One screen instead of forty spreadsheets. The decision visible at a glance.

改善

Kaizen — Small steps

Calm, daily improvement instead of a paralyzing revolution. Methodical, like smart training before a long distance.

The human — At the center

Technology is a means, not an end. The real value is new space where daily work becomes a pleasure, not a burden.

About

Finance director → builder → decision architect.

For nearly thirty years, I have worked in finance and management. As a CFO and Finance Director, I have been responsible for the finances of more than seventy companies across eighteen countries — in calm times and in crises. I know which data matters and which is just noise.

Today, I design and build applications, models and decision interfaces myself — combining nearly three decades in finance and management with the latest AI tools. Part engineering, part craft, part art. And a great deal of genuine passion I want to pass on. AI-native development is the most exciting thing to happen to finance since the spreadsheet — and I have the rare luxury of understanding the whole path: from the accountant’s or analyst’s desk, through technology, to the boardroom table.

Mountains — perspectiveThe best decisions come above the treeline.
Sailing — teamworkYou can’t change the wind — you can set the sails.
Half marathons — distanceTwenty-one kilometers of patience. Consistency beats talent.
Zen — presenceLife happens here and now. A good decision requires presence.
Starting point

Decision System Sprint

A short, focused project. We start with the one decision that costs you the most today — and finish with a working prototype. No presentation about transformation. Just a system that works.

01

Decision

We pick one costly or repetitive decision in your company.

02

Data & process

We identify the data and process that really sit behind it.

03

Interface

We design the decision interface — the screen that answers the board’s question.

04

Prototype

I build a working prototype on your data or synthetic data.

05

Rollout

We agree on a rollout and roadmap. From there — small steps.

Contact

Show me the decision that costs you the most — time, money or peace of mind.

Tell me briefly what that decision is. I’ll show you, on your own data, what a morning could look like when the system tells you what is happening in the company before the day really begins.

And if you don’t yet know what you need — or AI creates more discomfort than trust — let’s simply talk. About the doubts, not the tools.
